I gathered my sister and her family to pose for this picture to help communicate that due to the economy, Hunger is now effecting us all. After bringing the image into photoshop, I created the AD to run in the Business Journal.

Concept design #2, also gives exactly what the client was looking for but in a much more bold and contemporary layout. The earth tones are more dominate leaving the smooth sexy curves as a secondary element, yet a powerful part of the design.

Concept design #1 for a local restaurant: they needed a new menu that had some earth tone colors and appeared not only contemporary but felt "sexy". By using varies soft colors and gentle cures this design accomplishes the gentle look of a sophisticated and alluring graphic piece.

Yesterday I was honored to get a call from a local restaurant entrepreneur that wanted to do her share to help those devastated by the recent earthquake. After discussing her ideas, I was happy to come on board to create a logo and all marketing materials for the event that will run for 3 weeks in all three restaurants located in Scottsdale Arizona. The funds raised will go directly to Doctors Without Borders, www.DoctorsWithoutBorders.org

This is the new logo for a great program that is supported through the Food Bank, it gives culinary and life skills to those just out of prison, living in severe poverty or those having a difficult time and have no other options. I was honored with the opportunity to upgrade their look and try and give them a cleaner and more professional look.

People that know me, know I don't like bugs and I am terrified of frogs. Don't ask why... Anyhow, if these mortal enemies ever decided to battle for control and I was forced to take sides, I would side with the less evil winged insects. I might even go as far as building a frog terminator as illustrated above. Please, no hate mail from frog lovers.

OK so here is a character I have in just about all of my sketchbooks...I have had a love of comics since I was a young girl. Playing in my mom and dad's backyard, I created him in my mind to protect me against my brothers and their constant bullying....he's a combination of my love of Batman, Spiderman and my fave wild animal, a panther. I drew him in Illustrator and brought him into Photoshop to create the alley wall behind him.

So after years of design I have found that keeping my own website up to date has been the hardest project of them all. I have so many random ideas, varies projects and different influences that consistently alter or motivate my creative senses. Its hard to find a pretty package to place it all in and present to the world.

So what a better excuse needed then to keep an artist blog. You really wont find too many insertions of words of wisdom or me rambling off about my daily life. If your interested in that you can follow me on twitter and see all my witty comments in their full glory. What you will find here are my sketches, graphics, websites, creations and my imagination at its fullest.

So lets get this started with a few monsters that like to lurk around the corners of my brain.
